I'm also re-watching it, up to series 11, and although it's noticeable it's not too bad of a nosedive considering the nosedives of other animated shows.

When peggy stopped being a substitute teacher and became part of the local newspaper with all those wacky characters that's when you could feel them jumping the shark a bit, but it's still one of the best animated sitcoms.
