Thirdly, most of the things tourists go after anime for aren't violations of Christian morality (or at least that isn't the reason for the attacks), they're violations of some nebulous UN international modern secular don't-offend-me all-inclusive code of ethics. It isn't Bible-thumpers going after your Japanese media these days. It's Vice magazine, UNICEF, and Time, or else it's some Wojack-faced reviewer who repeats some dumb talking point about how anime needs to change. And even they aren't a threat. Like you pointed out, the threat is just people who entered the hobby only after it was declared socially-acceptable in 2020. They're the ones who care about enforcing social norms with reference to cartoons.
