how the heck do normals have their salaried positions?
i'm so sick of being a contractor it sucks i feel like i'm hired to do the work of four people because the four people who are salaried barely do the work of one person between them and i don't understand how they get to have that cozy easy position with a sense of security whereas i have nothing underneath me
literally everything in life is just about being social and making friends no other skills matter whatsoever and it's total bullshit

Connections. Did you know so and so who knows so and so?

My sister can't do algebra (I did her college homework for her so she could get her degree), but she was in some group sex thing with other degenerates and they all are part of the same professional circle so they hire each other and give each other six figure tech jobs despite not knowing anything.

Well in my case I had like 3 one year shitty jobs between 20 - 33
Then started to feel crazy lonely so I talked to old "friends" from 10 years ago (all 3 of them) and basically was like
>yeah I feel fucking lonely, wanna hang out?
And then eventually one of them was like
>You don't have a job wanna work with me? and I was like sure and now I "work" 4 hours a day in a small but cozy office doing nothing but sometimes greeting clients and sending them to my friend

So yeah learn some social skills or at least open up to someone

Everyone wants to be salaried for the bennies, but higher-ups want to have as little obligation to employees as possible, so you're correct to feel like the untermensch in your workplace because in the eyes of the company, you are. Anyway, try to find a smaller company to work for. You probably won't be able to sit on your ass all day, but your benefits would be better than now.

The lesson from your story says nothing about learning social skills, dumbass. Its an old coworker remembering who you are and giving you a free job for nothing.

To be more specific, I got my BSN then my MSN and now I am an NP. No social skills required just hard work. I imagine it is quite similar for engineering and other pre-med stuff.

the bigger the company the less you'll be having, also being eager and motivated will just result that you'll get more work assigned
