I never lived, anon. Here's why
I'm almost 40 and I've never had sex, tried alcohol, or worked.

I've never had sex because in my 20s I thought it was fuckin weird to use another person to masturbate. Like wtf, that's not normal.

I never tried alcohol because I thought it made no sense to consume toxic solvents. That shit is not rational from a medical viewpoint.

I've never had a job because it doesn't feel right to wake up at six so I can go and make money for someone else, doing something that's almost definitely a net negative on society.

Are you content or do you regret this unlived life of yours?

I'm not that far away from you. I tried working though and it didn't go so well. I don't recommend it if you don't have to.

Alcohol is the same, but it's moreso I don't have the best grip on myself and I don't feel the need to intoxicate myself. I enjoy root beer and other beverages, so what the need for alcoholic ones?

To add to my previous post, working for someone else is dehumanizing. Just don't. I experienced it first-hand. You are the enemy of the company, because you are an expense. They wanted to save every hour, every penny, and let me go at the drop of a hat if the work was slow. I thought there would be some camaraderie somehow, but there wasn't. Co-ops are the only type of company that makes sense to me, unless you own your own.

I think we have similar mindsets.
