I would like to say Nobel six but unfortunately those assholes at Bungie never gave Nobel 6 the ability to dual wield so Master chief. Now if only 343 weren't lame faggots and gave Chief his dual wield ability back I can get a master chief dual wielding SMGs while also being able to use a grapple hook and throw barrels like a gorilla.

Despite chief being a mostly silent protagonist and 6 having plenty of lines, 6 feels more like a blank self insert somehow. Maybe because his backstory is just vaguely being a loner in other squads while chief has a hardset backstory

It's because you can customize 6's appearance and it shows up in cutscenes. Even if you don't alter his appearance at all, that's still a choice.

I like Noble 6 but Master Chief is easily more iconic. Chief is the face of the Halo franchise and the main protagonist, while Noble 6 was more of a blank slate for the player to have as their own custom character. I also think Chief would have beaten Noble 6 in a fight if they ever faced off, he is much more accomplished given that he lived longer.

My only gripe with the MP was armor lock if only because it broke the pace of combat forcing you to wait around for that retard go break their armor lock so you can finish killing them.
