I go to the park once a week, and I am just as ignored and lonely there.
Another thing that sucks is that the book / magazine / media stores I liked all closed down these past 15 years.
So I can't even go there to browse and kill some time. There is basically nowhere else to go that isn't expensive.
Even the coffee shop I started to frequent suddenly closed down a few years back. Nowhere cheap-ish is close enough.
