Just a dumbass at a bar I was at when I was vacation that was being a shit head with everyone, and he was coming my and my family's way. I was already in boxing training for half a year at that time so not onmy did I have the conditioning from being a triathlete with fight conditioning, he was easy. He was your typical fat construction guy with a bit of size means everything. People in general are absolute shit fighters. Just a month of basic boxing training (not even sparring, just basic mitt work amd footwork) and you can beat 90% of people. He telegtaphed everything and was slow. I didn't even need to clap block. A simple parry and jab to the face a few times was enough to piss him off and have him so gassed in within seconds. After that, a simple 5-2 and he was on the floor.

You got to have fight conditioning as well. I thought all the cardio and strength training I had would carry me easily. It helps a lot, but law of specificity kicks in as well. Even mitt work will wear you out if you are not used to punching with 16oz gloves. I could only go a round of easy sparring the first time my trainer allowed me to spar. Thankfully, I got conditioned easily thanks to my athletic background.
