I think it influences people's biological tendencies but it's not really "predictive." Plus most of the popular stuff about it is obvious bullshit. If things like just the movement of the moon can affect our seas so much though, why wouldn't all the nearby celestial bodies affect us?

Nope, and I think I'm proof that it is bullshit.
Pisces, supposed to be a sensitive, cretive type. Emotional vulnerability and all that dogshit.
Former infantry. Decently sure I have low affect disorder. Can't do creative arts to save my life. Massively antisocial and my main social activities are shooting and martial arts
I live in hatred and anger and my biggest wish is to die in a gunfight

Birth charts are fun and decently accurate. There's something more to it all but requires the same level of training and education as it does to be a priest. But unlike a priest, there is no formal institution to teach these things to you and unfortunately women have taken over these spaces meaning the information on hand is incredibly watered down. >t. former magician apprentice

to the extent that people believe in it there is some truth to it regardless of whether or not it is itself true
for example, if a bunch of people believe it is an auspicious time for romance then there will simply be more people looking for romance which makes it become true
similarly if things are supposed to be dour then some people will have a pensive and restrained attitude making it more dour

Same. I don't believe in astrology but I find the girls who believe in it so cute. I'm Leo and this girl started talking my sign and the way her eyes lit up when she spoke about it, it was so sweet. I'd rather have them over the women who are unnecessarily hateful and too political.

I used to not believe in it, but now I somewhat do. Largely because I read a reading that seemed dead-accurate about myself.
I think most readings, esp weekly stuff is garbage, but the idea of the positions of planets having an effect makes logical sense to me.
It is also very old which to me gives it credence.
