Is it just me or are women really open and eager to talk about their menstruations?

It has happened twice to me now, instances in which women talk to me in length about their menstruations, and I'm not even close to these women, just acquaintances at best.

They spoke about their cycles, the side effects, cravings, their pills and stuffs, and they seem quite comfortable talking about it. Has this happened to anyone else?

As they should. The weird stigma men have around periods is stupid. As long as she isn't getting into nasty detail about it I see no issue. It's clearly a very annoying and painful thing they have to deal with so I see no problem with it being brought up when relevant.

I remember back in middle school this gal I used to know in like 7th year had her period for the first time I guess and she had a little rag she showed me with blood and said something like.

>Does this ever come out of you at night?

I'm pretty sure she's in a mental institution now
