I work a job where one small mistake can cost hundreds of thousands for the company. I'm literally a 19 year old, I don't think I should have this much responsibility.

Pretty sure your work gets double checked by experienced people to avoid getting someone killed so easily.

I oversaw work that was integral to a structural integrity of buildings and all I can say is never take the lowest offer.

True; medications themselves are checked pretty frequently, and pharmacists do verify medication procedures pretty well.

But should a patient have a dye allergy, or react to specific non-active ingredients? That's where the REAL risk comes in, since it's much, MUCH harder to keep track of that.

Honestly, I might want to look into toxicology once I get back into college again. Just need to get my car fixed first.

I work in IT for emergency services systems, I really shouldn't have the responsibility I have either, I'm especially mistake prone and have poor memory and concentration, but it was the first job I ever had and I need the money. I'm lucky I have good coworkers. I don't think I'll be doing this forever.
