Not at all. I unironically work out because not working out makes me feel even shittier than I already do. That's why dudes injure themselves. Why take a rest day from something that is masturbatory at its core?
Also, lifting for women is pointless.
>>82130309Don't forget that most celebrity bodies are on gear and that steroids are basically mainstream in the gym/bodybuilding scene.
Look at Tobey Maguire's body in the old Spider-Man films. Remember when this was considered a superhero's build? Nowadays, if you have this body, you will be mocked relentlessly online. If you look like this, you will probably be insecure and posting on /fit/ or /r9k/ about how you have terrible weakling genetics. You'd probably keep your shirt on out of embrassment. The goalposts for male bodies have moved THAT MUCH.
Which, honestly, is really fucking sad because *most* dudes I know from like 18-35 look like that if they aren't fat. Forget "achievable," that shit is COMMON these days. I seriously feel like the majority of boys and college-aged men have some kind of visible-but-not-over-the-top muscle. Like deadass I feel loke thw average guy looks like this now and that is insane. It's like having having visible chest and ab definition became the fucking default. I can't tell if media gaslit me or if basically everybody id gymcelling.
Work out to feel good and maintain your body. There's no keeping up with supernormal stimulus.
