I feed and care for the neighborhood feral cats. I like to come up with life stories for the cats. The current batch I've imagined how one cat must have interacted with my old cat. I also like to imagine she is the child of one of the other cats I care for. There's another who had kittens that look like another cat who is long gone. I like to imagine them all being family and friends. It helps cope with the loss of others.

That's very nice Anon. Are you writing these stories down? You can start whole plotline like that. I hope your cats all stay well, take care of them. And sorry for your losses.

I don't see the appeal of coming up with stories. I know most of the family trees already because I'm feeding them for years.
