there's online volunteering bulletin boards and forums for things in your local area, whether official or not. though usually, this is more contingent on whether you live in a major city or not.

I have. Pro tip: don't volunteer for anything involving poors. Once you see how pretty much all of their problems are self inflicted it'll erode the goodwill from your heart until you end up a callous asshole who no longer wants to help anyone. If you're looking to meet women try doing something with animals (which is just depressing instead).

I've volunteered at an animal shelter before. It was pretty fun because I got to play with dogs all day.

Your local animal shelter or soup kitchen. They are always in dire need of help. If you can't get to those places, you can volunteer on peer to peer outreach groups like 7cupsoftea for example.

Or hell, it's not formal volunteer work but /adv/ has tons of lost and confused souls who need help right now. If you need volanteer work for a resume or something, do the formal. But if you're just looking to help others, you can do it right now on this very website.

Google is your friend. Look up the location of animal shelters in your area. You can also take a walk to your local library and ask them if they know of anywhere that needs volunteers.

I mean I guess it's not their fault they were born dumb but watching them make one retarded decision after another and then blame the world/whitey/banks/etc eroded any sympathy I used to have for them. There's probably 1 virtuous, unlucky poor for every 200 scumbags who would be better off dead.

Great example of this was some negress who spent two hours screaming and crying to me about how the banks are awful, how racist they are, etc etc because they "suddenly" told her that she had to pay hundreds of thousands of dollars on her mortgage! Except it turns out that she had a balloon mortgage and was simply too stupid to read whatever she'd signed or even do a Google search.

Sorta. I teach a free class at the library about basic computer use and internet safety. Mostly targeted at people who don't know much about that sort of thing. I get a lot of older people who are starting to use computers more in t heir retirement.
