Where should your foot be when you're making turns?
Title. Driving instructor is ass so I'm turning to r9k. Should I be pressing on the brakes, gas, or none?

Hover over gas but make sure you can switch to brakes quick. You accelerate into the turn but then lay off the gas a bit when actually turning

when making a turn your foot should be off the gas if its a tighter corner.
If you feel like you cant make it slightly charge you brake pedal
DONT be a nigger and come to a complete stop to turn unless a car is coming by of course

it's not really good to brake during turns unless it's an emergency. You should ideally be going the right speed coming into the turn and slightly accelerating after the apex of the turn.

You can brake during a turn, though, it's just better if you don't have to.

Depends on a lot of things. If you were too fast coming in, the brake, but otherwise off the accelerator and off the brakes until you hit the apex of the turn, at which point you start to speed up again.

There are tons of good videos that'll help.

accelerate towards the turn, then right before you initiate the turn, push the clutch in with your left foot, break with the toe of your right foot, and "blip" the throttle with your heel to match the revs of the engine as you downshift

Brake before (if necessary), coasting during, gas after the apex
