She needs to grow her hair longer, get her lazy eye fixed (usually an insurance covered thing anyways because it does medically affect daily life) and maybe get that smile worked on, a lot of facial surgeons can fix a weird or gummy smile with a couple snips to the areas that attach the lips to the gums usually.

Former LDS here
She's in the older singles ward. If you've been LDS your whole life and you end up in that ward, you almost have to have tried to get there, or you have something seriously wrong with you. Think high-functioning autists, BPDemons, turbovirgins, etc. I say this because most of the time, your family or friends or people in your ward or someone like that will repeatedly try to set you up with someone they know. It's frowned upon to even end up in the younger singles ward, but the older ward is basically the rejects.
