Smart people wear masks. It provides a small amount of protection to getting respiratory illness but most importantly it makes it harder for CCTV to positively identify you.

Naive, and weirdly outdated considering nobody really thinks about the pandemic shit now. If anything, I am mildly annoyed that an absurd number of people don't comprehend how masks are for preventing the transmission of illness to other people, not for protecting oneself or acting as some sort of purifier (unless it contains a respirator). We should be treating it like the Asians do:
>I have a cold
>I will wear this as I go out to prevent the transfer of illness to others and be a considerate citizen
>I'll take it off when I'm home so I can breathe normally
>I won't put it on again when I have recovered because I am no longer exhaling microbes of illness everywhere around me, and thus I have nothing to transmit
Just wait for these retards to say "what if I get sick". Fucking hell.

Japs LOVE face masks and commonly wear them, even before covid. Given that Japan is a such a great place, we should look to Japan as an example. Wear a mask when you are sick.
