Millennials are selfish assholes because they were told their entire youth that they would attain the same wealth generation X had, only for them to reach adulthood and get... nothing.
Houses with gardens turned into apartments with balconies. Cozy jobs gained through nepotism turned into required overtime. Nutritious food turned into processed food. Obedient wives turned into "independent" whores.
They had to work really hard to get what they have, and that experience turned them into what they are today.

And then came the zoomers. They grew up already knowing that they would have nothing to look forward to.
The housing crisis ensured they now either live with their parents or rent single-bedroom apartments for a third of their wages.
Overtime is no longer an option, requiring them to either live paycheck to paycheck or work multiple jobs.
Most male zoomers barely interact with women and can only look forward to the possibility of being the person they settle down with in their late 30's.
And then you have the whole "your existence is why everything is bad" mindset that they have been taught from a very early age.
It's no wonder they're all so heavily addicted to the internet. Because why wouldn't they be? Real life sucks ass.

Generation Alpha is a whole other beast. They've never known what things used to be like, so they have no expectations.
They're perfect corpo-slaves, being taught by them through the internet on how to behave, what to consume and when to die.
