It's really fucked how hard they cater to these sociopaths too. As of this year there's a feature to block someone but keep them on your friends list. Absolutely demented shit. God will not forgive them.

Online friendships never worked out for me. I have no RL friends so if I made an online friend, they would be my focus. If they don't talk to me enough I'd get frustrated and end up deleting them. Sometimes they would just turn out to be shitty people. I prefer RL friends anyway, you can meet up and such. Where's the fun in having a friend half a world away who doesn't share the same reality with you? I'd rather talk to ChatGPT.
