Does anybody else fuckin hate clothes shopping? Not to sound like a chick but how do people buy clothes? In person shopping there is never anything interesting to buy and online shopping its a gamble. Either you will find a shirt that you really like but its out of stock or you buy a shirt that you like that is in stock but surprise surprise the damn thing is too short or big. Some of these shirts costs over $20, sometimes $100 for one goddamn shirt. it's ridiculous.
>inb4 poorfag shop at Walmart or khols
I do, khols is shit. Walmart is shit. Anything cheap on me looks like utter shit honestly, so I have no choice but to buy expensive items.

I know my measurements so online shopping is easy. Only problem is barely anything comes in my size and is also fashionable.

100 for a shirt isn't awful depending on the brand, you don't need many of them. Buy a lot of t-shirts, you can get the packs of them for cheap. Two pairs of jeans, maybe 3 shirts, all in that should cost you less than 500 and last for a few years. If you buy online it's easier to get the size you want and you can buy everything on sale. Those 100 dollar shirts go for 20-30 on sale. Size yourself in the store to make sure you get the size you need or use the measurement charts on the website of the retailer.

Also to add to that, i mostly buy clothes from a brand where i know that pieces fit. Mostly works since they keep their sizes pretty consistent

I dunno man, like I said earlier anything cheap looks like shit but this might be due to my physique. I'm skinny fat at 6'0 so maybe if I fill out yknow with muscles maybe the cheap stuff would look kinda decent on me? I dunno.

You can get decent quality stuff for cheap on sale though. J Crew is pretty ok if you like that aesthetic and sometimes has 90% off sales on certain items for example (I've gotten Wallace and Barnes shirts for 10 bucks from them before) . Quality there is better than Walmart, Kohls, or Uniqlo. Cheap t-shirts can look pretty good with a little muscle and even higher quality ones are still going to be under 20 bucks a piece (and you only need 7 at most). I keep a pretty small wardrobe and just add an extra button down or two every year, but my weight doesn't change much so I'm not outgrowing my clothes.

You must be fat and mishapen. I look good in cheap Walmart and Kohls clothes and I've been wearing the same cheap shit for 15 years now and just replace worn out items as I have to. Sounds like a skill issue put down the fork and exercise more. 90% of my t-shirts are from one hail I did literally 15 years ago 2 for 15 at Kohls and I just saw the other day when buying socks they are still selling such t-shirts 2 for 22$.

>how do people buy clothes?
I always go with my mom since I have no sense of style. She knows where to get good clothes and what will fit my physique and style.

Yeah its awful. It gets worse when you're broke and can only buy at sales, so when theres a big sale you have to buy a lot.

I discovered something recently, trying a lot of tshirts, 10+, will burn your armpits, it'll do friction burns. What happened was that I was buying tshirts on sale and was trying different sizes and cuts, around tshirt 10 i started feeling pain on my armpits and it just kept getting worse. I wanted to buy more tshirts but at some point I just couldn't try anymore.

Another thing that annoys me is comparing prices, looking different stores etc, its very tiresome mentally, especially for shoes and its models/sizes/prices/brands/how well it fits.

i just buy hanes black shirts. They come in 4 packs. I buy champion black shorts and sweatpants. I have a pair of one jeans and a couple pairs of cargo pants for hiking. I like adidas socks. I wear converse or hiking shoes. Whenever I notice something getting worn out or faded, I just replace it.
