I used to think that, but that's another mislead. It's all on purpose. Social justice karens never wanted racism to be gone in the first place, they just wanted the power to control what you say and do. Since they were the loudest society unfortunately listened. The whole thing they call "woke" is just another severe overcorrection against supposed past injustices and it seems like average normies are pretty sick of it, and like most of these social overcorrection it unsurprisingly spurred on its antithesis purely because of how unlikable the majority of people who call themselves "antiracist" and now even my liberal coworkers are becoming aware and sometimes even critical of the Jews and their actions in the west.

There are many contradictions within social justice thought. You can't simultaneously "believe women" and also think minorities are unfairly overrepresented in rape charges. You can't believe in equal opportunity while also supporting women/poc-only scholarships and programs. You can't support "queerness" while also decrying perversion.
The civil rights movement and its successors have heavily distorted what was once a self-organizing open society. Disallowing prejudice was really the original sin that led to so many other freedoms being curtailed.

Right now social justice is the next big thing that everyone likes to virtue signal about to make themselves feel good. And then corpos jumped on the bandwagon to make money. Plus social media can overinflate things by bringing words of a rando to wide audiences and making them seem important. That's all there is to it.

If they weren't pushing so hard, majority of population would probably be okay with most things. Like gay rights and whatnot I am sure majority of people don't really care but they do begin to care once you start rubbing it in their face and having the 'you are either 100% with us or against us' attitude.
