I agree that men are FAR more likely to discuss something of value, but plenty of men still talk about low IQ bullshit, and it's getting worse. Eavesdropping on men is either like clicking on a random Wikipedia article or it's mind numbing NPC drivel about normie FPS games, GTA VI or endless amounts of "muh sportsball team". I had hope that the latter interest would die out with the boomers but plenty of millennials and a disappointing amount of zoomers have also made it their identity now. Plenty of male conversations make me want to give up on society.

These are both true but the disparity between the likelihood of hearing something of substance come from a woman compared to a man is so wide it's laughable. I hear men talk about educated topics all the time occasionally interspersed by a braindead conversation about Marvel movies or something. When it comes to women I have overheard one useful conversation in my entire life which was two women discussing the preferred acidic soil composition of garden plants and which ones did better in a planter vs in a plot. EVERYTHING else I have ever heard was what OP mentioned, mindless consoomerism like spending $300 on hair, nails, leggings, wanting to go to a $500 insert-rapper-name-here concert or about how they were hungry and wanted Chipotle. I genuinely want to love women but you guys make it so difficult.

Explain to me how the "aerodynamics of stealth bombers" or the "stock market" is any less inane than astrology or makeup.
People like to talk about useless pointless shit as small talk and I don't think any of these subjects are more or less "valuable", even if you personally think stealth bombers are cooler

The mental capacity needed to understand the complexities of the stock market or the aerodynamics of stealth bombers is significantly higher than that needed to talk about the kind of dross that occupies women's mind's nearly 24/7. Arguing that no topic is objectively more interesting than another because it's based on subjective opinion doesn't change the fact that the things that typically occupy men's minds are vastly more complex and sophisticated and that dwelling on these topics demonstrated a greater propensity for introspection, reasoning and intellectual curiosity when compared to females. To answer your question, the things men sit around and talk about are what built and continue to build society and drive us towards the stars, the things women sit around and talk about is to consume what men built. Women lack the Faustian spirit and it shows.
