At least you can work, OP. I injured my back at my job and now I might be disabled and I'm only 29. I will literally never live a pain free life from this point forward, I can't even lay in bed for too long without pain, by my 40s I'll most likely be disabled and on a wheelchair. Use this as motivation to better yourself, stop working some shitty job at a factory or retail, go back to school, get a nice comfy office job, go out and explore, find joy in the little things, even if your life is shit, at least you can sit and enjoy a nice gaming sessions, I'll never be able to enjoy any of that anymore due to always being in pain.

I remember when farming was released. Hell, I remember when runecrafting was released. I used to do law runes to Entrana or whatever it's called. Inventory full of runestone for 54 laws or something like that. Long time ago man. Laws were so hard to get in bulk back in the day.

One of the books recently released, "The Gift of Guthix" tells of how humans came to learn how to use runes not just for combat, but also (most importantly in the story) for teleportation, and how the Fremennik almost prevented that from happening. Worth a read...meanwhile, I'm reading the newest release, "The Fall of Hallowvale."

Maybe I'll check those out. I haven't played runescape in years but I still have a lot of nostalgia for it.
