Let them know that it is they who are being unreasonable and unfairly attacking you. Women are very susceptible to feelings of guilt and they hate being seen as the 'bad guy' in any situation. So by making them think that they are in fact the ones victimizing you it flips their script and puts the pressure on them. No matter what you did always tell them that they are the ones over reacting and making a big deal out of nothing. Because quite honestly that basically always the case anyway.

Immediately following the ty you should have done everything you could have to either swap to another messaging app or set up an in person date. The long wait times between texts indicates waning interest and you needed to secure her divided attention as fast as possible at that point. If they're on tinder they know what you're there for so you don't need to make your intentions totally clear until after you've met them.
