Why do people want to hang out in groups? Everyone has to either compete to be part of the conversation or they just talk to one other person and ignore the rest of the group. I just want to hang out with one person at a time why can't people understand that?

I don't like hanging out with one person there's too much pressure to be interesting and entertaining so they don't get bored. Two other people is ideal.

Same reason I prefer 4chan over having a conversation with someone. You people keep each other entertained and I can inject myself into the discussion when I feel like it.
