im noticing this too, and ive had my group of friends for over a decade now and i can never fucking get any of them to commit to hanging out "oh im doing things with x, y group of friends" on repeat
now and then ill come here, join new disc servers, add people off of a thread or two and wind up with not one good experience but a burning hatred for human life
