There's no contradiction. They want a sexual relationship with Chad and attention from simps they find intruding in their nerdy hobby. They are 2 separate things and not mutually inclusive.
For example this girl started playing Magic the Gathering and very quickly she established a normy pecking order. You had sub-normies being super positive with her and trying to flirt and hit on her, then you had the mentally ill or squirrel jawed robots who she ignored at first but then later started getting hostile towards. We had an ongoing tournament league thing and she was included and supposed to play a robot who was a beginner at her level but she absolutely refused, which she had the right to do, but this had literally never happened before at the club. When I told her this and that he's a nice guy she absolutely freaked out, I assume in large part because I was also a robot and trying to talk to her, but as usual with people who hate you they never explain why they are angry because they have no acceptable explanation and don't want to talk to you like a fellow human being in general. All the sub-normies then flocked around her and acted like I was a terrible person et cetera.. even though none could explain to me what I had done that was so terribly wrong either. It was like an unwritten rule that the girl must be sided with and her malicious behavior excused and I was "le bad" for challenging it.
She just wanted to hang with the sub-normies and soon the room was divided into people she would talk to and those she made clear she hated, even though the robots were at a level where they had given up on women and never hit on her or flirted with her or did anything remotely "creepy". She was "gatekeeping" herself and establishing the rules that only certain people are allowed to interact with her and engage in this hobby with her, which for her was only ever beginner surface level.
