I'm gay, but I'm still against Pride and the LGBT movement.
Whenever I see "anti-transphobia" stickers outdoors I take them down.
Why? Perhaps because I'm 40 years old and more mature than most gay people who seem to be teenagers.
I don't want to drive a wedge between us and the "common people". We are part of the common people, idiot. The whole point was to make homosexuality an accepted / normal part of the human experience. Parading, doing graffiti, being militant etc. isn't that. I'm not here to wage war against Christians and Trump voters. This isn't an us vs them issue. That's my whole point. I'm doing everything I can to stop this divide et impera dynamic, because that's ironically the only thing that can make people hate gays in the west at this point.
I don't need to feel special. I don't need to feel that I belong to some minority. I don't need compensation from society for past oppression. I'm not a victim. I'm just a normal guy, you know? Can you not live like that? Why is your homosexuality your only hobby and interest in life, and why do you have a victim complex? Grow up and get over yourself. The party is over, everyone in the west has already heard about gay rights and it's up to them to decide how to feel about it. The way I see it, society has accepted us, but a lot of people don't particularly like us. That's just fine by me.
