>>82214625 (OP)I feel you OP. I was a solid 185 when I got out the Marine Corps three years ago. Now I'm pushing 255 which is way heavier than I thought was possible. Gained weight so fast I got stretch marks lol.
Only thing we can realistically do is force ourselves to move, even when we really really don't want to. ESPECIALLY when we really really don't want to. Go for a walk, look up workout at home videos, anything that is more movement than what you're doing now.
The next important part is getting in a caloric deficit, arguably harder than exercising because we're so used to being full, that our body sends signals to our stomach that we're hungry even when we aren't.
Get a calorie tracker like MyFitness and be honest about how much you're eating and drinking. Calories in versus calories out is probably the most important step to losing weight, while exercise helps to burn calories and build muscle during the process (muscle burns calories faster than fat by the way, so the more muscle you have the more energy you consume).
That's really it. Do some form of exercise, and eat less calories. Don't rush the process. Realistically you want to aim for 1 to 2 pounds of weight loss per week. Anything faster means you're probably starving yourself and are likely to end up binging food and regain the weight.
