I have concluded that one of the reasons girls aren't interested in me is that I am fat (110 kg at 6'2''). Since I suspect there is a few gymbros here, I am asking for some advice.

What exercises would you recommend for someone who is a beginner. Preferably something I can do at home since gym be expensive for a university student.

Most advice online is like 'just go run 1 km' or something bs like that but as someone who spends most of his time sitting or sleeping its not really applicable. I am not looking to get any bodybuilder muscles or anything like that, just to be in a better shape. There is also a chance I might get called into the army some time in the next year so I want to not come there as a fat blob.

What I do already is that I only eat homecooked food (so no fastfood or takeout), don't drink soda and try not to eat too much sugar (per day I eat like two-three biscuits and one ice cream on a stick). I have also started doing some squats and sit ups before bed but that probably isn't going to do much good.

Steadily cut your calories down to about 1500 per day and go on a 30-60 minute walk every day. At your height and weight, you will lose at least a kilo every two weeks like this. Reduce your sugar intake, too.

I'm on anti psychotics and it has caused me to bloat up to 200lbs again. I've lost it before by coming off of them and walking 2 hours every day. I went from 210 to 158 it's crazy to walk 2hours every day thoughbeit

Thank you, I will try that then.

Also counting calories is a bit impractical when food is homecooked. Is there any good tool to estimate it (like I can put in the ingredients and approx. amounts and get something out).

Nutritionix has calorie amounts for foods. You can estimate pretty easily. 100 grams of chicken breast = 200 kcal (rounded up), for example.

I mean I already only eat two meals a day (breakfast and dinner). And technically do intermittent fasting since I get up around 11 and eat dinner around 18 or 19.
