Nobody else finds it crazy that autists who excel at math, science, or certain subjects and literally change the world, are prodigies, or just overall smart are grouped in with autists who can't or can barely even care for themselves and have to have a caregiver on hand 24/7?

All the autist who have a hyperfixation for hard mathematics/science/etc have their own variant of caregiver who translate the autist babble into a usable product. You will never see an autist in a board room.

It's a learning disability. It's my understanding that what makes certain autists savants is that their autism doesn't affect certain parts of their brain and they just wind up spending all their time doing the same thing. The real super power is just being a regular smart person that spends all their time doing 1 thing to the exclusion of everything else, including friends.

do you not know which board you're on? there are autists who can care for themselves and are independent. they are called high functioning, or asperger's. we call them aspies here and most autists here are them. real autism is so retarded you need help shitting, cant talk and have stunted growth

I can't take care of myself and don't have any special skills but am smart enough to recognize the situation I'm in

The thing about this is usually people can detect if youre autistic very easily. Theres something almost off and uncanny about them. I knew a guy who was like this where he was pretty intelligent, less science based but more so into philosophy and literature and got good grades, he was pretty popular at school and always held huge house parties that people attended but girls were always creeped out by him and he only really hung out with his friendgroup of lowkey losers because I think other people just sort of tolerated him. My point is basically that I think its impossible to have all of those skills as an austist because everyone will always be able to tell.
