The midpoint was last year idiot

Nope. Gregorian calendar begins on 1 AD. No 0 AD. Decades, centuries and millennia begin on years ending in 1 and end on years ending in 0. Mongoloid spastic.

0 to 9 is 10 numbers divided by 2 is 5 so ergo proxy the midway point is 2025 and we have passed it.

Yes, 0 to 9 is 10 numbers. But there is no 0 AD in the Gregorian calendar, it begins on 1 AD. Just like January begins on January 1. First 10
days of January are 1-10. Same with years in the Gregorian calendar. Imbecile.

Well 1 to 9 is 9 numbers divided by 2 is 4.5 so apparently June 2024 was the mid point of the decade and we mega passed it.

1 to 9 isnt a decade. Decades, centuries and millennia begin on years ending in 1 and end on years ending in 0 in the Gregorian calendar due to it beginning on 1 AD.

What are you not understanding about basic math?

You said there was no zero in the Gregory calendar I'm meeting you where you're at. If they end on zeros then the 80s include 1990? That can't be right.

Yes, because there is no 0 AD. Literally just scroll back in any calendar, even the one on your phone, and 1 AD will be directly preceded by 1 BC.

The 80s is not a decade that conforms to the Gregorian calendar. I have told you this a dozen times. Its an entirely arbitrary grouping of 10 years, in the same way 1983-1993 is. Neither are decades which conform to the Gregorian calendar. 1981-1990 is. The 190th decade of it, in fact.

Idiot.

But everyone talks about 80s this or 00s that. I think you're missing something here. Maybe we use a different calendar in the US?

If you were in a room with 999 other people and everyone of them believe men identifying as women were women, would you believe that men who identify as women are women?

You have resoryed to bandwagon fallacy because you have no argument.

Go clean yourself up.

The US has used the Gregorian calendar since its inception.

Like I said, go campaign for calendar reform if you care so much about this. Endlessly lying about and disingenuously arguing that the Sky is green is never going to make it so, though. Go do something about it if you care and want change.

We're talking about calendars what?
>>82221763
I don't know about that!
>>82221767
I don't have to. Everyone talks about the 80s and the 90s and the 00s. I hear it all the time. We're already doing it my way. I don't think anyone does it your way.

What do I plan to do at 12:00.00 AM on January 1, 2026? Probably wonder if the addition of leap seconds to the latter half of the decade means I'll find out later that I celebrated the midpoint at the wrong time.

>While a leap second was previously anticipated for the end of 2026, a recent announcement by the International Earth Rotation and Reference Systems Service (IERS) indicates that no leap second will be added at the end of 2025, and the next possible date for a leap second is June 30, 2026. However, due to the Earth's rotation recently being faster than anticipated, it's unlikely a leap second will be needed in the near future
