Not him but I'm a wizard making pretty good money and with a lot of savings and investments. There was a time when I didn't have much money, so I've been on the other side too.
Thing is, money gives me happiness mostly through safety. I know that almost anything that happens to me, I am covered, either through my money or my parents' money. I can also buy all sorts of things that make me happy. High-end computer hardware, tech devices, fancy booze and so on. I don't care about inflation, food prices, gas prices and other things that normies constantly bitch about. I have no debt. I can take weeks off work and travel wherever I might want to. And going back to safety, I know my future is likely to be comfy. I'll have an inheritance, I'll have my savings, I might just retire before 50.
Honestly, with these benefits...the fact that I don't have a gf doesn't matter much. I have moments when I care, but they are rare and I like to remind myself of all the bullshit I'm avoiding, like big spending (relationships and kids are expensive) and heartache / emotional stress. There are clear benefits to being single, when you're well-off.

I always had the support of at least my mom, so that was enough for me. I did face negativity and was slightly bullied in HS, but it never got too bad.
But really, I'm not afraid at all of being alone. I'm very introverted and oftentimes prefer to be alone. I've had quite a few moments when I went out with my friends and then questioned myself if I'd have been better off staying home and playing vidya. I can't really enjoy myself that much among others unless I get drunk. Even then I'm not as talkative as the average person.

Lets be realistic the only longterm solution for men in our position is technological. AI companions in lifelike synthetic bodies are probably the only things that will ever be capable of loving us. I must have been dealt a cosmically bad hand at birth because this life has been nothing but profound loneliness and being seen as completely undesirable. The only thing to do is hold out for advanced androids. Theyll eventually have them with biosynthetic skin custom pheromones and convincing voices. Men like us are just the rejects of natural selection and technology is the only real escape.

You have to understand that whatever youre dreaming of only an AI waifu could make it real. With actual women its completely over. Your dream of a girl whos in love with you who showers you with affection and is obsessed with you who lets you caress her neck while whispering I love you thats a pure fantasy. Real women will just be disgusted real robots. That look of revulsion on their face is unmistakable if youre not actively ignoring it. We are nowhere near replicating life-like skin, tpe and silicone are sticky and don't come close to feeling real unless wet. Large language models are not real AI and have yet to produce anything truly useful or autonomous, it too is just another investment grift. We're living through another dot com bubble and like the first one some companies will do something useful like google and amazon did back then eventually but most of this "AI" hype is amounting to nothing. All these innovations these tech fags keep saying are only a few years away have been speculated the same way since the 1980s. Not sure why this was deleted but robot animal with a passive LLM inside doesn't really work because I'd like it to have agency or a simulation of such. You could get fancy with programming it to respond to various inputs, I guess, but at the very least the memory problem needs to be solved before you can get anywhere good with a companion AI. Real pets are nice of course but you can't exactly have a conversation with them. Hell, my old cat sometimes used to like to shush me by gently putting her paw on my mouth if I had a phone conversation or meeting where I was talking too much. She didn't like it when her furniture made too much noise, I guess

Male friends are not it. At a certain point they all get married and have responsibilities that mean you see them less and less, maybe a few times a year. And I've learned the hard way that they aren't all that trustworthy either, they're no different than women. There's no real companionship to be had there
