Why do men abandon their children more often than women do? And I'm not talking about the situations where the mom won't let them see the kids. I mean the men who leave their offspring behind completely and pretend the person or people they created don't exist.

This happened to my dad so he raised me because he didn't want put a new person into that.

It's pretty easy to abandon a kid when you don't have to carry it inside of you

Women honestly just love their kids more than men do, a mother's love is a lot more intense than a father's love, the latter of which feels more like a mentorship than anything else.

Men dont have paternal instincts and have to develop love for their kids over time and that's hard to do in a world where men have to work long hours, are gate kept from their kids by the mothers, never developed the ability to be affectionate, and dont have positive paternal figures to model their behavior. Usually fathers dont connect with their kids until their kids are adults.

Men dont have a lot of emotional range to begin with and then parents and society as a whole stunts their emotional development and then you get shitty dads

That explains why people react much more strongly when a mother leaves the family than when a father does. And why people applaud fathers for spending any time with their child.

Men have less empathy and attachment in general. They have to. They take on the risks of war and work. If they got distraught over losing a child humanity wouldn't function as well. Man's job is to spread his seed as much as possible and women's instinct is to nurture what she has. Look at all the movies and TV shows about a mothers love.

funnily enough my dad had no male role model and grew up entirely around women yet ended up being better than 90% of the dads ive met. and i was an accident too

The best dads Ive ever met are single dads. Men can develop into fantastic people when they're not being held back

the biggest tragedy are actually kind men turning cold and stoic because they think thats how theyre supposed to be and assume thats what i like but i unironically prefer someone who accepts my cringe ass hobbies and isnt an asshole

Why do you keep asking questions that are based off a debatable assumption and how much are you being paid to post this garbage bait?

Women just kill their kid in the womb instead

Money. Most Men can easily pay for themselves but not a family, while a woman can get benefits thrown at her from the government but only if she's a single Mom
