I hate sites like 4chan, discord and twitter and yet I keep using them like a retard. Why?

I've stopped using crappy sites like Facebook, r*ddit and forums for good, so why can't I do the same for sites like 4chan?

Because sites like that are based on popularity. Literally no one hears you there. So it's no fun. You're basically a spectator.

Here you will always be seen. People don't have to reply, but you will atleast be heard when you say something. Even being mocked or made fun of will give you a dopamine hit because its radio silence anywhere else

4chan is good for schizoposting
Discord is for retards who don't know how to socialize IRL so they just """friend""" collect online
Twitter is like 4chan minus the anonymity so it's just retarded

Yeah, you're right. At sites like Facebook and twitter your posts get ignored even if you reply to popular posts from other popular accounts and even if you make the most "controversial" posts that if they were done by others they would get mob attacked immediately. Even if you make interesting, meaningful posts you get ignored to death. But if you make a post about politics, online dramas etc, SOMEHOW you get lots of views and likes instantly.

I always hated this shit even at Facebook. What's the point of having 200+ online friends if you barely talk with few of them?

I also hate the "I follow you at twitter, therefore you have to follow me back" mentality that some retards have.

I even take it to the extra mile of deleting discord friends I rarely talk with anymore or haven't talked with for years.

As about twitter despite being followed by 34 people I only follow one person at twitter and only because he's helpful with finding info about certain old, obscure Japanese media I'm fan of
