Settle for whoever is attracted to you or its not going to work out. If you are a 5/10, best you can probably get is a 6.5/10 with a good personality. Have a decent job and at least a little bit of aspirations. If you are ugly, looksmax in the gym and the barber. Be good at sex and chores and you are set. Im married, but I am also conventionally attractive and have a really good career so it was pretty easy for me to find a pretty wife. Lastly, be emotionally available and listen to what she has to say even if you dont really agree, unless if it is something especially retarded.
