What the fuck do people even do for entertainment nowadays? I'm 31. Growing up, I'd try to go outside to play after school and on weekends, but there were never any other kids outdoors. I'd spent hours walking and biking around looking for them, but I was the only one out there. So I ended up back at home playing video games, watching TV, or being on the internet alone. The only time I ever saw or interacted with other kids was at school.
Same thing in my 20s. Whenever I wasn't at work, I'd be out trying to meet people my age but everywhere is empty. So again, I end up back at home playing video games and browsing the web alone.
