when making a decision with such gravity, i urge you to consider realizing you can remain a male while acting more "feminine" in some respects. Gender stereotypes have created a world where people feel they need to assert themselves to one binary completely. unless you are feeling genuine and strong gender dysphoria, and it is something that has been afflicting you negatively for a long time, i urge you not to make any decisions that will have such an impact on your body. You can always experiment in other ways to see if you feel more comfortable being perceived as a separate gender, or if you feel a negative attribution to being perceived as your birth gender. please please please, do not do something like taking estrogen without having a firm grasp on how you feel about yourself as a person. don't compare yourself to others, don't compare yourself to norms and ideas of gender. just think, do i feel comfortable being perceived as my birth gender by myself? if you feel strongly plagued by your birth gender and feel it afflicts you to a painful dysphoric degree, perhaps more serious moves like taking estrogen can be considered, but seriously, estrogen is not a decision to take lightly. Every human body is a beautiful thing, and i urge you to make sure any decision you make that could strongly impact it is based on how you yourself truly feel, not how you fit in or how you think you could be better perceived by others. YOUR comfort in YOUR body is what matters with these decisions. Ignore people who say transgenderism is retarded, but also ignore people who urge you to make heavy decisions based on their experience, because it is YOUR experience that matters with decisions like this.
