some people cope with drugs, some with videogames, some with food. i happen to be the last one

if i want baked potatoes with barbeque sauce, i can get it
not a lot of parts of my life have this much agency to them, unfortunately
tacos always treated me nicely
i only added broccoli and spinach to the salad because otherwise id never eat it

Food addiction.
High caloric intake as relative to burned callories.
Genetics can be a factor.
I have fat people in my family and am prone to get fat quick, so I eat once a day (700-1000ish callories) and keep it at that. And I'm still clinically overweight and have a dadbod..

Fatass here (6'1 240 lbs 30% bf) - please help me.

I have 2 hunger states, the actual one where your stomach starts hurting and making grumbling sounds. This one is quite easy to ignore and keep on track with your designated eating time.

The other one is just a "craving" of food, a feeling of desire. This one is pure hell and I have such a hard time ignoring this feeling. Why is it like this? How do I stop?

A combination of stuffing their face and not giving a shit about their own well being as they watch themselves balloon over time. Every fat person hates themselves or life itself on some level.

sometimes im too lazy to eat so ill drink a lot of warm water before bed and fall asleep before the stomach gets suspicious of it. waking up after this stunt hurts a lot though.

Try forcing yourself to eat. I know it's hard, but if you do, your appetite will naturally increase. Then not being hungry will become equally incomprehensible to you.
2 King size paydays have 900 calories in only 7 oz. It's the most calorie dense thing you can eat. Even more than ice cream or weight gain shakes. That's how you can cheat you to get calories in. Just eat that for breakfast, and you're good.

Be warned. I'm a fat fetishist.

Some people are more likely to be addicted to food than others, also depends on culture and upbringing.
there are barely any fat people in asian countries since their culture shames fat people, while america for example doesn't, and to an extent glorifies it.
I for example, was insecure about being chubby as a kid so I dieted it off by eating iceberg lettuce instead of chips, and not allowing myself to eat until certain times, then somewhere along the way I picked up a caffeine addiction that nuked my iron levels and made me not feel as hungry, making eating optional.
Later I started being autistic about eating purely "organic" so I ate even less, since my diet mostly consisted of low effort crap.
did that bite me in the ass during adulthood? it sure did, I probably wouldn't have been sub 6ft if I didn't do all that.
Remember that it's better to eat something than to not eat at all.

Yeah well it is better to eat nothing than to eat too much, and plenty of people evidently can't just stop at "something" and inevitably veer off into "too much" without thinking about it. It is better for those people to eat next to nothing.

>Former fat kid
I was a fat kid until 15 yrs old because my parents were fat. Having a fat kid should be considered child abuse.
Mom would feed me 2-3 plates of food per meal and shame me if I just wanted one.
Portion sizes were messed up too. Eg Lunch was two sandwiches, a bowl of soup and a yogurt. And even then mom would try to feed me a 3rd sandwich and shame me if I didn't want more.
Treat nights, something I only do once a week now, were an every day/second day thing (oh its just a bag of chips, oh its only one bowl of ice cream).
You also get brainwashed into delusional coping like "we are just big boned" or "we are just bigger people cause of our genetics" even "were stronger than those skinny little people"
Many fat families have a crab in the bucket mentality when it comes to weight loss. When my highschool friends started bringing me to the gym and teaching me to count calories and eat healthier I constantly got:
>you are gonna be anorexic
>you are wasting away!
>you have anorexia we should take you to a doctor.
>you are just working out to impress girls
>working out is going to ruin your back!
>you are gonna have to buy yourself the new clothes to fit you, we wont! (I literally walked around highschool in rediculously oversized clothes for a year, girls loved that *roll eyes)
>you don't want my food, why do you hate me?
What's funny is 24 years later they are still fat and blaming their genetics. Dad had a heart attack last year and still thinks frying in butter is healthy.

The green text you're replying to was meant for people who struggle with eating disorders and being underweight, an addict can take that advice as a way to justify their addiction, but it wasn't meant for them.
Even then, starvation is a shit way to lose weight (look at people who rely solely on ozempic for refrence)

Fat people always lie about how much they eat. Also they eat unhealthy stuff like unsaturated fat. They purposely avoid healthy foods like butter, lard, hallow, and duck fat. Also they are constantly eating. In order to be healthy and maintain ideal endocrine balance the body needs to enter starvation mode. This mimics how humans have always eaten up until fat people invented the concept of eat all day nonstop why am I fat I only eat 2 calories in a whole month. Fat people eat 20 meals a day with 30 snacks is between. It's a 24/7 assault on their pancreas and the body forgets what hgh even is.

Space in the stomach is what makes it hard to gain weight. Chicken leg quarters are $0.7/lb. Pork is consistently $2.xx/lb. Ground beef will dip below $5 if you watch. Then freeze some as hamburger patties and some as 1lb portions. Sometimes I can get catfish $1.99/lb. Bought a whole case last time that happened so I won't be able to put anything in the freezer for a while. Seperate by size; big filets get teriyaki'd, small pieces coated in fish fry.
