Disagree but either way they're still keeping the old logo on menus and other physical material.
Not sure why everyone lost it

700 million over 3 years and it's more than just changing the logo. It's stupid but it's not very much money. They're a 1.2 billion dollar company that does 3.5 billion in revenue and makes 40 million per year. They're going to spend 233 million a year for 3 years in the hopes of increasing their profit by, I don't know, driving up revenue or justifying price increases. It's not going to work but they're in a bad spot and are probably desperate. I'm not sure how much of that expense is real anyway, they might be writing down assets and including that in the total cost.

Yeah ok I looked at what they said
>refining the brand, optimizing the menu, evolving the store and guest experience, winning in digital and off-premise, and elevating the employee experience
Most of that money is probably going towards an """app""" and extra automation in the stores. Media misreports corporate actions once again.

Yes because suddenly doing revamp does not inspire confidence and they were grossly overpriced to begin with. A PE of 22 after the crash and a history of declining margins is not good. They should have crashed more.

Can't wait for the news that they're gonna go bankrupt in a few years after a shit rebrand like this.

They didn't actually spend 700 million bucks. That 700 million is imaginary money calculated by difference in stock value before the rebrand and after the rebrand. You would only lose money if you sold Cracker Barrel shares at a loss now. Until then it's just Jewish voodoo.

This bankruptcy is intentional. (((Hedge funds))) and (((MBAs))) do shit like this on purpose to destroy value. They make more money off stripping a company bare by looting their now-depreciated assets than they do running a successful company, plus it's easier to burn something down than build it up. Hope everyone enjoyed this lesson in Clown World Economics, sponsored by our greatest ally.

old cracker barrel was meaningfully (sovlfully) busy, had character, and made sense. i'm struggling to think of a worse redesign

you go to honky tub to walk through the shitass gift store, gaze wistfully at the slave memorabilia, and order the unhealthiest, most overpriced food on god's green earth, and it is your obligation as an American to kill anyone who tries to fuck with that on sight.

Cracker Barrel can suck a dick I have been living on the road for 6 years just traveling the country. And I would do mechanic work wherever I go to make money. And when I'm on the road going from one town to another, I always liked to stop off at a cracker barrel, and stay the night and then get up in the morning nice and late like 11:00 a.m. and then go in and get some fucking breakfast! So back in 2021, I start noticing that most of the Cracker Barrels do not want people with their RVs staying the night there anymore. Traveling and staying at a Cracker Barrel on either having dinner the night before breakfast the next morning, was something that many people who RV, would do all the time. And you know what I have encountered? Some Cracker Barrels have kind of a separate lot for the rvs, just because the property is kind of a weird setup. They would block that area off completely. Other ones that have just a rectangle plot of land, they will use the area in the back for rvs, buses, big giant parking spaces 40 ft long, it got converted. Regular parking now. Police waking you up in the middle of the night with a knock on the door telling you that Cracker Barrel does not want overnight parking here. One time I rolled up at 9:00 p.m., and this one was actually more reasonable for why they wanted me to fuck out of there, it was because it's right next to Daytona International speedway. And I go and I parked there and as I'm getting my dogs into the rv, and locking up, a manager comes out there swiftly walks to me and from a distance like yelling at me, hey are you here to eat? Are you here to eat? Said no overnight parking. Fuck! So now, I don't go to Cracker Barrel ever.

The name cracker barrel lives up to it's main audience. It's basically "fancy eatin'" for low class whites, red lobster for whites if you will

I cant fucking take it, im going to kill the guy who changed the barrel picture. Thats not okay with me. You cannot get away with that.
