try a different type of therapy then? or a different therapist. ideally they should help you find some affirmations and exercises that help you.

not a therapist but it seems like cutting yourself is you trying to find something that works. same thing with drugs and other types of destructive behavior. music therapy helped me a lot because I can't always say what I'm feeling but if you give me a piano I can play it. art therapy in general helps some people get the feeling out and then you can talk about what steps you can take to fix it. just saying. finding a healthy community to be part of can definitely help too.
I sound so lame and positive right now I'm just saying what's helped me.

I don't do it very often honestly I had stopped for like a whole year until my gf left me and I started doing it again because I was upset, right now I'm going nowhere in life I can't even find a job and when I did have a job I couldn't keep the job because of anxiety problems and I'm alone in my room all the time I don't have a good relationship with my family they are a huge part of the reason why my mental health is non existent I really feel like once I leave this place and live by myself my mental health will improve
