i feel like i have the mental maturity and social self awareness i should have had when i was 13 and im 18 right now

I feel like I've been mentally 35 years old since I was about 6 so all that has happened is that other people have gradually started treating me differently. With no significant changes in behavior I went from "fucked up little freak" to "respected professional"

i would be just as much of an outcast if I went back to high school today. i guess it's more mature that i wouldn't care about it now.

yes and i have had to distance myself from minors bcause i get along with them a little too well

I always feel like I'm 3 years behind everyone else.
Like when I was 15 I was still really childish and it took until I was 18 to start feeling like a teenager.
