I'm black and don't have those issues. You're probably suffering because your white parent never taught you how to take care of your hair or they couldn't. My hair is only ever fucked up when i don't take care of it. White people bald more than blacks anyway statistically.

Any of the options like what? Taking care of your hair properly? I promise you curly hair is easier than you think. Use some natural oils and products that are actually made for your hair type like Brazilian hair care, flaxseed gel, and I also heard hot oil treatment helps as well. Wear less high tension hairstyles and more loose, protective, natural ones OTHER than braids like twists, or just wear your hair in its natural state. What hair type do you have?

I'm also mixed, and this just seems like you don't know how to take care of your hair I'm a straight natural and I find that the easiest for me to maintain I just wash blow-dry and straighten once every 1 or 2 weeks and the rest of the days it's easy to manage and if you moisturize it properly and use a heat protectant your hair should not get any damage

Depends on your location. I'm in south west rn hair be dry but I moisture and like put water in it occasionally, pretty much when I was my hands. I like having my hair braided or tamed because I can't stand having my fro up and then being lazy around it'll like leave a dent in my shit and I'll have to fuck with it all day. It's different for boys to girls. I'd go sponge but my hair grows fast so it's no point. I just two strand twist and when it's not so dry I let it stay out and sponge it almost like this but I take mine out and then twist it back. I mess with my head all day.
