Why do incels have such strong feelings about women wearing makeup? I've been lurking on .is and it comes up a lot. From what l've seen, the hostility seems to come down to a few things:

Yeah, like obviously women will say that to avoid looking vain. But the reality is that makeup changes how other people treat you. I started wearing it in uni and the difference in how people treat me was noticeable.
Even other females were friendlier to me, people seem more interested in what I have to say, more happy to do small favors, even waiters at restaurants seem more attentive

Anyways, the real reason why incels hate makeup is because they don't have a male equivalent. They can't roll out of bed and spend 15-minutes dolling themselves up in front of a mirror and then magically get treated better. It's envy,
and let's be honest, if a women doesn't wear makeup, normies will think she is sloppy or weird.
So why are they mad at women for playing the game and just trying to garner better treatment from society? Or at least, for me personally thats why I wear makeup

I'm not a fan of the health issues they can cause, on top of the idea that it's socially discouraged for a woman to go without it. On its own, I don't despise makeup, it just seems really sad from my point of view to have that expectation.
