How evolution created this fuck up:

>sex during the 2-5 days means ~30% chance of pregnancy, still not guaranteed
>when a woman is pregnant, it is not possible to tell she is pregnant for some time
>during and after pregnancy women are extra useless and need extra food for survival of the child to reproductive age
>without modern tech one can tell when this 2-5 days are
>at any given time there are far more reproductively capable men compared to women who can be impregnated (not net male female ratio)

so

>men needs to compete with other men and retain her to have any chance of passing on gene
>men needs to have some emotional attachment and attraction to stay around her mate guarding her for long time making sure no one else impregnates her during that time and he remembers to do it enough time to not miss the conception window too many times
>during and some years after pregnancy men needs to provide extra food for her and the child, provide transportation, shelter and avoid having other males kill them to free them up for pregnancy market

The long span of attachment needed is the evolutionary reason for existence of male form love and attraction to reproductive age female.

The same for women had no evolutionary reason to be selected for. There is a thing that women call love is their sense of safety without attraction, which needs another long explanation, but it's not the same type as men's.

I'm sorry but if you know of it it's pretty much tied to you now. Don't be afraid. You'll see it in dreams, might see it in the corner of your vision or see/hear it mentioned in random places.
