im african(Nigeria) and 6'3 and one of the shortest males in my family and in my area our family was height mogged lol, my grandad was something stupid like 6'9 and we had to chop off his legs to bury him.
theres greater genetic diversity in africa because of weird ass diseases and any number of bullshit you can think of, none of those stats are even really accurate to what they are supposed to be anyway because you can't do census on tribal areas which have even more genetic diversity and population randomness.
unless africa was recolonized you can't expect western studies to fully understand anything that goes on there even the governments there(which are shit anyway) can't keep track even for tax reasons
