Normies find building a PC to be some great feat done by nerds. Its literally just picking some parts & assembling it together, its incredibly simple.

This disgusts me

The only thing I would check in hindsight is that the memory clock frequency is compatible with the moba with the QVL listing, I'm overclocked on a 3600 mhz frequency but did a memtest and it's okay, just has issues booting with the SATA ports plugged in (abrupt power loss with HDD).

Currently running a Ryzen 7 3700 with a RTX 2070

CPUs and motherboards are usually sold as a packaged unit so that you don't deal with that unless you're specifically upgrading your CPU to another one with the same socket type and not your motherboard

>following lego instructions is hard
memory in dimm slot, everything else in it's PCIe slot. SATA cables for hard disk drives,
Thermal paste on CPU, with intercooler/heatsink. Mounting in case (fans) and formatting/installation of device drivers (monitor/graphics card).
