Are you guys stuck in 10 or 20 years ago like I am even though I wasnt even around 20 years ago (im 19) I can only bare to watch YouTube videos that are older than my brother nowadays. Music wise im really into rave stuff right now. Also seems like the other half of what I listen to is strictly new wave. Used to only listen to punk and all kinds of rock but I guess that got old eventually.

Ppl that listen to incelcore need to try growing up. I liked that shit when I was like 14 and in my teens I realized that its mostly repetitive dog shit with a few exceptions. U guys wonder why ur a social outcast.

>what does /r9k/ read?
Trifles for a Massacre. Absolute antisemitic KINO. The ballets included were also very beautiful.
Also Prison School. What got adapted into anime really is the only good part, the rest is just character assassination over character assassination but at least it's entertaining even if painfully retarded

>music you are listening to?
Been listening to operas lately. Here's a pro gamer move: just skip the recitatives and go straight for the arias. You won't miss anything because recitatives aren't music.
If you care about the story then read it before or after. But recitatives make it a drag. Which is why Wagner sucks because all he did was turn the opera into recitative.

>show you are watching?
>vidya you are playing?
Nothing. I was playing pokemon black but my 3DS turned off and it was a special game where I couldn't save so I didn't beat it

>incelcore
Stupid name for the genre, the songs aren't about how people can't get laid. Most of them are about lost love, in fact.

Regardless there's plenty of variety. If you don't like it then that's on you, but as far as "growing up" is concerned I have a mortgage, a job, and a former career in the military. What about you, anon?

Undoing Depression by Richard O'Connor PHD

A lot of anime, just finished an apisode of The Summer Hikaru Died. It's okay. Great art and fairly interesting story, but uncomfortably shoehorned in Gay undertones.
>listening
Do people even listen to albums anymore? I've been checking out a bunch of 80's postpunk and Gothic rock lately.
Also at the time of posting I'm listening to a curated list of gothic and electronic music.
>Playing
Nothing. Games aren't worth playing anymore for the most part. I guess Once Human on mobile counts.

Just read the analyst by John Katzenbach. There's a decentish idea and it's light easy reading but 2/3 of it are proper slop, basically whatever was built in the first part stops mattering so as a reader you stop bothering too

Some great 80s japanese acts are G-Schmitt, Kokushoku Elegy, and the first few albums from Buck-Tick. Also the first couple of Malice Mizer albums were goth as fuck, before their first singer left the band and they changed their sound a lot.
More recent stuff from all over the world is Twin Tribes, Old Cat's Drama, Da'at, Daniel Knutz(just don't look much into the guy he's a leftist prog idiot), Eat Your Make-Up, Sweet Ermengarde, and TRAITRS

NTA but fucking love them. Their music videos are all great too. I would fuck every member of that band and I'm not even gay.

I really enjoyed their stuff when I was in high school back in the oughts, still quite enjoy the Gackt era, but the era before him was definitely their best and was very much gothic rock instead of the more electronic and experimental kind of direction they went during and after gackt.
On that note I can recommend some great visual kei acts that go all over the place stylistically. The Gazette, Phantasmagoria, Hello Sleepwalkers, Jiluka, and Nazare. Also Ypysei Teikoku is worth a listen if you like metal, as is Ningen Isu
Anonymous No.82293721 [Report]

Whoops. Yousei Teikoku was what that next to last rec was. Fuckin phone keyboard.

That's when I got into them too, and I was also in high school nice coincidence. I had a goth friend who recommended them to me. I prefer the early stuff too but yeah the whole catalogue is very enjoyable.
Thanks for those recs, I'll check them all out anon.
