It feels really good to walk or climb in nature. Something instinctual kicks in, a feeling of this is what I should be doing instead of sitting. I can feel like I'm high when I'm hiking and my mood quality is elevated for hours afterwards

At a slow pace you drift from place to place and when you're hungry you start a campfire and cook something, or just go to a pub, because you're not driving you can drink as much as you want, because you have been walking for hours the food is tastier, the same when you pitch a tent the light exercise lulls you into a deep sleep, everything just seems better.

As for the trees, there are many different kinds of trees and plants, there is a world of nature out there. You say it's boring, well, you're boring, you don't want to explore nature, just sit in your room trying to trigger the dopamine coom with electronic entertainment. Boring.

I regularly dig up sassafras to make sassafras tea. Same with the stinging nettles since they're one of the most healthiest things you can consume. I trail hike and run often. I don't buy your "muh different kinds of trees and plants!" bs.

Think of it as like shopping but for men. We don't enjoy shopping, it's 100% unpleasant. It takes time, costs money, there's people, it's loud, and it's not even the tiniest bit interesting. It's a passive act of consumption, there is nothing to be learned, created, observed, or contemplated.
But women like it specifically because of all the things that make the experience so bad.
