Nearly every culture in the world encourages living with parents unless you are married or attending university. I live with my parents at age 25 in the USA and am rich as fuck because I save like 95% of my paychecks instead of spending it on paying off debt or rent. I even have a gf, although she's acting like a bitch right now. Living at home is only loser status if you're unemployed.

Almost everyone I know lives with their parents after 30, I am a very rare outlier and I am only capable of living on my own because I didn't go to university and dig myself into a debt pit.

I'm 27 and live with my mother and she leaves me alone 90% of the time but it's a small flat and terrible soundproofing so I'm constantly reminded I'm not alone. It's cringe but the other option is bottom-of-the-barrel wageslavery as I have little education or work-experience.

The prospect of still living here in my 30s is grim, but I don't want anything out of life but NEETing, I have no interest in normie shit like careers, friends, or girlfriends - so I don't know if it's even worth the effort to move out.

But there's part of me that just hates being here, hates waking up in my childhood bedroom, hates seeing my mother every single day, and craves a change of environment and a sense of freedom and independence.

well, i have and irl who is 21 and pregnant and lives in the upstairs of her mom and step dads house.
