My most solo sports hobbies are running and cycling, as well as lifting.
Yes there are like groups for running and cycling and there are opportunities to be social at the gym as well, but really when it comes to those things I'm focused on only my breathing and my body.
Cycling and also mountain biking I enjoy the freedom and liberation of getting away from everything and exploring new paths. Jogging and running I don't mind circling the same track.
I also trained in a few martial arts for 6 months here, a year there, etc. Kung Fu, Judo, BJJ and MMA. Those are probably my most social sports where it's fun to meet up with the same faces once or twice a week and just make small talk maybe go out to a restaurant or bar after a local fight or promotion and even become legitimate friends with some of them.
I used to swim as a kid/teen, but I fuckin hated getting up at shit o clock in the morning during summer breaks to swim around an ice cold pool full of dead bugs. I never finished the last year of what would've been my certification to be a lifeguard, I knew how to not drown and dive and swim about and that was good enough for me.
Also there's something about autistic guys and BJJ. it's not just like smelly weird dues, there's also plenty of cute girls in BJJ, but there 100% always at least one or two dudes with bad BO that are either really very loud or super quiet.
I guess being squeezed and suffocated is like an extreme hugbox
